What kind of Coworker Birthday eCard should you send?

-For your boss.

It is always a good idea to acknowledge your bosses birthday, but it is important to come across as professional, especially if you work in a larger company.  An eCard is completely appropriate, but stay away from the ones that are lewd or overly friendly.  A nice touch when dealing with your boss is to include a specific personal note about why you appreciate them.  Something like “You did a great job on motivating us to get project x done on time” works well.  Bosses are often unappreciated, and a little specific praise can go a long way.

-For your peer

I think peer birthdays often call for humorous eCards.  Just be sure that you don’t  include anything that would be inappropriate for the workplace, and also be sure to include a personal note.  If the card is for someone that you don’t know well, you can always go a little more generic and that is fine as well.  Another great option with peers is to hand create you own card with cricut cartridges which will do a lot of the work for you.  This way you can super personalize the card to the recipient.

-For your employee

Whether you are a supervisor, a middle manager, or the top boss it is always appreciated when you send a card for an employees birthday.  If you decide to send cards, you MUST do it for every employee on your staff, from part timers to full timers.  You will want to keep the cards professional and include (if you have time) a personal note about what you like about the employees performance.  This small acknowledgment reaps huge rewards when it comes to employee relations.

Free Coworker Birthday Greeting Cards are a great way to acknowledge your coworkers birthdays without costing you an arm and a leg.
